The Vital Mission

Trapped in a cycle of hopelessness 60 million children around the world have no mother or father to guide them, protect them, or love them. Many live day to day without adequate food, clothing, shelter, or a warm bed at night. This cycle continues resulting in a high rate of orphan suicide, the need to turn to organized crime and prostitution for survival, and ultimately producing more orphans.

Precious In HIS Sight recognizes that not every person is able or called to adopt a child, but all are called to care for the orphans of the world. In our mission to find a home for every child, we have formed a partnership with Lifesong for Orphans (LO), a powerful organization and a friend in the mission to care for the world's orphans.

The mission of Lifesong for Orphans is To Change The Way The World Cares For Orphans.

How does Lifesong for Orphans help the orphans that are not adopted?

Improving Living Conditions

Through financial support and mission teams, Lifesong for Orphans provides basic needs such as food, clothes, and bedding to orphans. Uniquely, LO also funds and oversees orphanage facility renovations and provides medical supplies to hospitals and clinics that care for orphans. Each facility is provided with a comfortable and safe environment in which the children can learn according to their developmental level and needs.

Constant Christian Presence

Lifesong for Orphans, believing that these children have a deep need to know the absolute love of God for them and HIS transforming power for their lives, hires and trains full time employees who are Christians. It is their role to care for the children and teach them about the love and truth of Jesus Christ.

Job Skill Training

Only a small percentage of the world's orphans are adopted. To prepare the children who are not adopted for a productive and healthy future role in society, Lifesong for Orphans provides practical training with farm animals, agricultural equipment, sewing machines, baking equipment, and computers.

Graduate Program

After leaving the orphanage, LO provides the children, now young adults, with the support and accountability of a church family. LO encourages a long lasting relationship with these young adults through weekly Bible study, counseling, and even transportation to church social activities. LO works to keep these young adults connected to a source of encouragement, love, and support to reduce the risk of entrance into a destructive cycle.

The entirety of your donation to Lifesong for Orphans goes to helping orphans. Lifesong for Orphans has been blessed with a partner (TMG Foundation) that underwrites all US-based administrative costs allowing 100% of your donation to directly benefit the children and young adults.
