After trying unsuccessfully for three years to adopt domestically, my husband and I were directed to Precious.org by Lutheran Social Services. In less than one week we found our first daughter and one month after that we found our second daughter, both through this wonderful site. I cannot over emphasize the importance of a photolisting as it is undeniable that we “saw” our children in these little girls eyes and we felt an immediate connection and commitment to them. We feel God is working miracles and building families through Precious.org and we will be forever grateful!

Thanks to precious.org, I have the most amazing son. Adopted from Romania at 10 1/2 months of age, Alex has been with us for 7 years now. I always tell people, "I couldn't have done better if I'd had my own!" Alex is extremely intelligent, articulate, handsome...he has such a good heart and pureness about him. When I share information about adopting Alex, I often hear "he is so lucky". I am the lucky one. Being blessed with such a precious, precious gift, never does a day go by where I don't appreciate this gift. What saddens me is seeing the same children, seven years later, waiting for their forever family. Tears well up often...I can't stop frequenting your site, wishing there were some way I could sweep them all up into my arms and surround them with maternal love, letting them know they're loved and oh so wanted. I wish I could do more, I wish I could do more. Thanks for your website, thank you so much for bringing Alex into my life.

Our son, Blake, was listed on your website for quite a long time with A.I.A.A. Blake is from Korea. Anyway, we saw Blake (Sang Jin) on your website and he caught our attention. When we talked with A.I.A.A. they had several waiting children at the time and Blake was one of the children they mentioned to us. Long story short, he came home to us in September of 2000. I can not believe it has been that long! Blake was 2 1/2 years old when he came home and we were not sure how easy of an adjustment it would be since our two older children were both infants when they arrived. Well he walked into our lives as if he had been here forever and is such a blessing to our family. I can not imagine what our family would be like without him.
